Shepherd'S Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 Tbsp. minced onion
1 egg
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. bread crumbs or oatmeal
1 can English peas or peas and carrots, drained
1/2 to 3/4 c. grated cheese
1 c. water
1 1/2 c. instant mashed potato flakes
1 c. milk
1 egg
1 Tbsp. butter
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. minced onion
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
Preparation

Combine the first 6 ingredients and press into a 9-inch pie plate (bottom and sides).
Bake for 15 minutes in a 425\u00b0 oven. Pour off fat.
Pour the peas or peas and carrots into shell. Sprinkle with the cheese.
Boil the water.
Add the potato flakes, milk, egg, butter, salt, onion and garlic salt.
Mix thoroughly. (May need to add more potatoes if too thin or more milk if too thick.)
Cover pie with potato mixture. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake again for 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
