Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. unpopped corn
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 stick butter
    1/4 c. white Karo syrup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Pop the corn.
    Mix remaining ingredients.
    Place into a 2-quart glass bowl.
    Microwave on High for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes.
