Ingredients

1 c. milk
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt (heaping)
1/2 c. melted margarine
1 pkg. yeast
3 1/4 c. flour
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

Scald milk.
Add sugar, salt and margarine; set aside. Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water.
Add milk mixture.
Add 1 cup flour, beating well by hand.
Add eggs, vanilla and nutmeg. Beat well.
Add remaining flour and beat well until smooth.
Cover and let rise 1 hour.
Stir down.
