Plum Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 Tbsp. butter or margarine, divided
    3/4 c. sugar, divided
    3 to 4 plums, pitted and thinly sliced
    1 egg
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/3 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Place 1 tablespoon butter in a 9-inch round baking pan.
    Put pan in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven to melt.
    Remove from oven and sprinkle with 1/3 cup sugar.
    Arrange plum slices in a circular pattern over sugar. Bake for 10 minutes.
