Speedy Cranberry Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. granulated sugar
    2 c. water
    1 lb. fresh cranberries, rinsed
    2 apples, peeled, cored and chopped medium fine
Preparation
    In a saucepan, combine sugar, water, cranberries and chopped apples.
    Boil rapidly until skins of berries pop open, about 5 minutes.
    Cool.
    Refrigerate until served.
    Makes 1 1/4 quarts. Keeps well in refrigerator.
