Continental Cheese Bake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. onion, sliced
1 Tbsp. butter
8 hard-cooked eggs, sliced
2 c. shredded Swiss cheese (8 oz.)
1 can mushroom soup
3/4 c. milk
1 tsp. mustard (golden)
1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
1/4 tsp. dill weed
1/2 tsp. pepper
6 slices caraway rye bread, cut in 4 triangles
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Cook onion in butter until tender.
Spread mixture in baking dish (11 1/2 x 7 1/2 x 1 1/2-inch).
Top with egg slices; sprinkle with cheese.
Beat remaining ingredients in bowl. Pour mixture over cheese.
Overlap bread slices on top. Bake 30 to 35 minutes.
Serves 6.
Can be made ahead and refrigerated overnight except for addition of bread.
Add bread and bake 45 minutes.
Serve with blueberry coffee cake and cut up fruit.
