Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 2/3 c. flour, with a pinch of salt
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar.
    Knead in flour.
    Drop onto an ungreased cookie sheet or cut into shapes. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 15 minutes. Cool and roll in powdered sugar.
    (May add 1/2 cup chopped pecans to butter and sugar, if desired.)
    Makes 5 dozen small cookies.
