Homemade Summer Sausage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 lb. ground beef
9 tsp. Morton Tender Quick salt
2 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
1 tsp. seasoned salt
2 tsp. garlic powder
2 1/2 tsp. black pepper
6 tsp. liquid smoke
2 tsp. onion salt
Preparation

Place ground beef in bowl.
Sprinkle all other ingredients over meat.
Mix together by kneading.
Store in tightly covered container.
Place in refrigerator.
On second day, knead again and place in refrigerator.
On the third day, knead and shape in 4 rolls.
Bake in 150\u00b0 oven for 10 hours.
Use broiler pan so fat can drain.
After 5 hours, turn rolls over so that bottoms can brown.
