Sugarless Health Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. raisins
    1/2 c. dates or 10 prunes
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. vegetable shortening
    2 well beaten eggs
    3 tsp. sweetening
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. extract
Preparation
    Cook first 3 ingredients 3 minutes.
    Add shortening and cool. Add remaining ingredients.
    Mix well and chill in refrigerator. Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet.
    Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 350\u00b0.
