Pickled Pineapple - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (28 oz.) can pineapple chunks in own juice
    1/2 c. juice from pineapple
    1/2 c. white vinegar
    3/4 c. sugar
    dash of salt
    15 whole cloves
    1 cinnamon stick, broken in half
Preparation
    Place
    pineapple
    chunks
    in jar with lid.
    Combine all remaining ingredients in saucepan and simmer 10 to 12 minutes. Pour
    hot
    mixture
    over
    pineapple.
    Seal jar.
    Refrigerate a minimum of 3 to 4 days.
