Macaroon Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    12 small saltines, crumbled
    12 dates, chopped
    6 cherries (candied), cut up
    1/2 c. nuts, chopped
    1/2 tsp. almond extract
Preparation
    Beat egg whites with sugar and baking powder, not too stiff. Fold in remaining ingredients.
    Spread in a greased Pyrex pie pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
