Cuban Black Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. water
6 oz. dry black beans (1 c.)
1 small green pepper
1 small onion, sliced
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1 Tbsp. olive oil
1 bay leaf
3/4 tsp. crushed dried oregano leaves
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1/2 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
Preparation
-
Heat water and beans to boiling in three-quart saucepan.
Boil two minutes.
Remove from heat.
Cover and let stand 1 hour.
