Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    2 Tbsp. warm water
    5 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    3 tsp. baking powder
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Sift into large bowl, the flour, cut in shortening; add buttermilk and yeast which has been dissolved in water.
    Stir until moist, knead a few minutes.
    Roll to 1/2-inch thick and cut with biscuit cutter.
    Place on ungreased pan and let raise 1 hour, brush with milk and butter.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes. Makes 2 1/2 dozen.
