Frozen Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. water
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    1 medium head cabbage
    1 carrot
Preparation
    Bring the vinegar, water, sugar, celery seed and mustard seed to a boil.
    Boil 1 minute and cool.
    Shred cabbage (4 to 5 cups) and carrot.
    Add 1 teaspoon salt and let stand for 1 hour.
    Squeeze out all liquid.
    Cover with vinegar solution and freeze.
