Canned Tomato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pk. tomatoes
    1 bunch celery
    6 onions
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. salt
    1 bunch parsley or 1/4 c. dried
    2 green peppers
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Cook tomatoes, onions, celery, parsley and peppers until tender. Put through a sieve. Add sugar and salt. Make a paste of melted butter and flour. Blend with juice. Heat and add to jars. Process in hot water bath 2 hours or in a pressure cooker (pints 15 minutes or quarts 20 minutes).
