Bourbon Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 bunch carrots, scraped
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. maple syrup
    1 oz. bourbon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. lemon juice
    1 tsp. fresh dill, chopped
Preparation
    Slice carrots crosswise at angle.
    Place in saucepan with butter, maple syrup, salt and lemon juice.
    Simmer over low flame, covered, until tender-crisp.
    Add bourbon.
    Simmer, uncovered, 1 minute more.
    Serve sprinkled with dill.
    Makes 4 servings.
