Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. quick oats
    1 1/4 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. soda
    salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over oats and let stand while creaming shortening and sugars.
    Add eggs, flour and next four ingredients. Add oatmeal.
    Stir until mixed.
    Bake at 375\u00b0.
