Cinnamon-Applesauce Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. red cinnamon candy
    1/2 c. water
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon flavored gelatin
    1 1/2 c. applesauce
Preparation
    Empty candy into small saucepan with the water.
    Heat over medium heat until candy melts, stirring constantly.
    Add gelatin; stir until dissolved.
    Stir in applesauce.
    Pour into 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan.
    Chill until firm.
    Cut into squares and serve. Makes 6 servings.
