Plain Banana Pie(Heritage) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 bananas, cut lengthwise
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    3 Tbsp. flour
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 egg yolk, beaten
    1 Tbsp. water
    pastry for 2-crust 9-inch pie
Preparation
    In an unbaked pie shell, alternate layers of bananas, brown sugar, flour, lemon juice and pats of butter.
    Cover with a top crust.
    Brush top crust with a mixture of egg yolk and water. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
