Fried Devil Dogs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. melted Crisco
1/2 c. milk
1/4 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. sifted flour
1 egg
1/2 tsp. red or black pepper
1/2 c. fine crumbs or corn meal
1/2 tsp. dried mustard
1/2 tsp. salt
6 to 8 wieners
Crisco for deep frying
Preparation

Blend Crisco, egg and milk.
Mix seasonings and baking powder with the flour.
Dip wieners into fine crumbs, then into batter made from flour.
Heat Crisco to 375\u00b0 or when an inch cube of bread browns in 60 seconds.
Drain on paper towel.
Serve hot.
