Almond Poppy Seed Bread(This Is More Like Pound Cake Than Bread) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. oil
    1 1/2 c. milk
    3 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. poppy seed
    2 tsp. almond flavoring (you may use 1 tsp. lemon and 1 vanilla also for lemon poppy seed bread)
Preparation
    Preset oven to 350\u00b0 (300\u00b0 for glass pans).
    Grease with Crisco two loaf pans.
    Stir flour, baking powder and salt.
    Mix slightly beaten egg, oil, sugar and milk.
    Add flour mixture and stir by hand.
    Stir in flavoring and poppy seed.
    Bake for 1 hour until bread springs back to touch.
    (Don't use mixer; bread is too dense.)
