Cranberry Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. orange juice
    4 c. chopped cranberries
    1 c. chopped nuts
    4 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream together sugar and shortening. Beat in eggs and orange juice. Sift together all dry
    ingredients and gradually add to liquid mixture. Fold in cranberries and nuts. Turn batter into oiled loaf pan. Makes 2 loaves in 9 x 5 x 3-inch pans. Bake at 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0 for about 1 hour or until brown and crusty.
