Scallop Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. scallops
2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 c. chopped onions
1 1/2 c. diced celery
1 c. fresh or a can of mushrooms
1/4 c. melted butter
1/4 c. flour
2 c. milk
1 c. bread crumbs
1/4 c. grated cheese
3 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation

Spread the scallops in a baking dish.
Sprinkle with salt. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in pan; add the onions, celery, and mushrooms.
Let stand a few minutes at low heat.
Make white sauce with 1/4 cup melted butter, 1/4 cup flour, and 2 cups milk.
Add this to the ingredients fried in butter.
Spread this mixture onto the scallops.
Cover with the bread crumbs, grated cheese and melted butter.
Cook at 375\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until it is a golden color.
