Easy Stewed Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans peeled and quartered tomatoes
    1/3 c. sugar (or less)
    1/4 stick butter, melted
    1/2 tsp. salt
    6 baked biscuits or 6 slices bread
Preparation
    Mix together first 4 ingredients.
    Crumble biscuits or bread and add to mixture.
    Cover and cook in a saucepan over medium heat for 15 minutes.
