Deviled Chicken Thighs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large clove garlic
    1 large slice ginger or 1/2 tsp. powdered ginger
    1/4 c. dry sherry
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/8 tsp. hot pepper (cayenne)
    4 skinned chicken thighs or breasts
Preparation
    Put garlic through press.
    Mince fresh ginger.
    Combine both with soy, pepper and water.
    Bring to boil in heavy pan large enough to hold chicken.
    Add chicken.
    Reduce heat.
    Simmer in covered pan 10 minutes.
    Remove cover.
    Turn chicken pieces over and raise heat so liquid boils briskly.
    Boil chicken 10 to 12 minutes until liquid evaporates and chicken turns a golden color. Serve with rice.
    Remaining liquid is good over the rice.
