Shoney'S Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 baked pie shell, cooled
1 pt. fresh strawberries
1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. water
few drops of red food coloring
4 Tbsp. strawberry jello powder
Preparation

Combine sugar, cornstarch and water.
Cook over medium heat until clear and remove from heat.
Add a few drops of red food coloring and 4 tablespoons strawberry jello dry powder.
Stir well.
Fill pie shell with fresh strawberries.
Pour cooked filling over berries.
Place in refrigerator and chill until thick.
Serve with whipped topping.
