Hot Cheese Hominy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans hominy, drained
    1 (4 oz.) can green chilies
    1 c. sour cream
    1 tsp. chili powder
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 lb. grated Cheddar
Preparation
    Saute onion in butter.
    Mix onion and all other ingredients except cheese in 2-quart casserole.
    Sprinkle cheese on top.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes.
    Serve hot.
    May be prepared ahead.
