Ingredients

5 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. oleo
1 c. chopped pitted dates
1 c. chopped walnuts
6 Tbsp. raisins, softened in hot water
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. whole wheat flour
2 eggs
2 pkg. sugar substitute
Preparation

Cream
oleo
until soft.
Chop dates, nuts and raisins, in hot water
to
soften.
Sift soda and flour and add fruits and nuts. Beat
egg
and
add sugar substitute.
Combine oleo and egg mixture; add to flour mixture, stirring just enough to mix.
Drop by
teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 until brown
and
a
toothpick stuck in center comes out clean, about 12 to 15 minutes.
