Southern Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    4 c. water
    2 c. long grain rice, uncooked
    4 chicken-flavored bouillon cubes
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/2 c. fresh parsley (or 2 Tbsp. dry)
Preparation
    Saute onions and garlic in oil.
    Add water, rice, bouillon, and lemon juice.
    Bring to a boil; cover and reduce heat.
    Simmer 20 minutes, until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
    Stir in parsley.
    Serves 6-8.
    Recipe can be halved.
