Cocoalight Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. cocoa
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. shortening
3/4 c. milk
additional 1/2 c. milk
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Sift all dry ingredients into mixing bowl.
Add shortening and 3/4 cup milk.
Beat vigorously.
Add 1/2 cup milk, eggs and vanilla.
Mix thoroughly for 2 minutes. Pour into 3 cake pans (greased and floured).
Bake 25 or 30 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
