Caramel Icing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. (less 2 Tbsp.) real butter
1 c. sugar
2 c. sugar
1 c. milk
Preparation

Brown first 2 ingredients in a heavy saucepan.
While this is browning, heat 2 cups sugar and 1 cup milk together.
Add to browned sugar and butter.
Cook about 3 minutes to the soft ball stage.
Cool slightly, then beat to spreading consistency.
