Carrot Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/4 c. Crisco oil
    4 eggs
    2 1/4 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    3 c. grated carrots
    1 1/2 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Combine sugar, Crisco oil and eggs.
    Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes.
    Sift dry ingredients 2 to 3 times.
    Add to egg mixture and beat 1 to 2 minutes.
    Add grated carrots; beat 1 minute. Spread in a greased and floured pan, 13 x 9 x 2-inch.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Frost with Cream Cheese Frosting (recipe follows).
