Blueberry Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. blueberries
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 egg
    3/4 c. milk
    3 Tbsp. shortening, melted or cooking oil
Preparation
    Wash blueberries and drain.
    Mix and sift flour with salt, sugar and baking powder.
    Beat egg and mix with milk.
    Stir egg and milk into the flour mixture.
    Add the berries and melted shortening.
    Mix well and pour into greased muffin pans filling them 3/4 full.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Makes 9 to 12 muffins.
    (Do not overmix the muffins, as it will cause them to tunnel.)
