Mrs. Shafer'S Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 c. cocoa
    1 c. milk
    1 c. coffee (hot)
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk and coffee.
    Beat 2 minutes.
    Add eggs and vanilla; beat 1 minute more.
    Pour into 3 (8-inch) cake tins. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 25 to 35 minutes.
