Mama'S Shrimp Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. green peppers, finely chopped
    1/4 c. celery, finely chopped
    1 bay leaf
    3 Tbsp. butter
    salt and pepper to taste
    dash of cayenne pepper
    4 c. canned diced tomatoes
    2 Tbsp. minced onion
    1 tsp. minced parsley
    1 lb. cooked shrimp
Preparation
    Add pepper, celery, bay leaf, salt, pepper, butter and cayenne pepper to the tomatoes.
    Simmer 20 minutes.
    Saute onion in 1 tablespoon butter; add parsley.
    Add this to mixture.
    Add shrimp.
    Cook until shrimp are pink.
    Pour over fluffy hot rice.
