Rum Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 oz. chocolate chips (1 c.)
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. light corn syrup
    sugar, for rolling the balls
    2 c. crushed vanilla wafers
    1/3 c. rum
    1 c. ground walnuts
Preparation
    In a saucepan melt chocolate chips over low heat.
    Stir in sugar, rum and corn syrup.
    Fold in vanilla wafers and nuts. Shape into 1 inch balls (2 tsp. mix for each).
    Roll in sugar. Store in airtight container for several days.
    Yield:
    4 dozen.
