Lemon Cabbage Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. shredded cabbage
    2 c. shredded carrots
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 pkg. lemon jello
    1 c. hot water
    1/3 c. sugar
    5 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/4 tsp. mustard seed
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. salt (optional)
    1/2 c. salad oil
Preparation
    Combine jello with hot water.
    Add sugar, vinegar, mustard seed, celery seed and salt.
    Mix vegetables and gelatin.
    Pour 1/2 cup salad oil over all.
    Mix.
    Chill for 1 hour or more.
    Keeps well.
