Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. butter
    6 eggs
    2 tsp. allspice
    2 tsp. ginger
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. nuts
    1 lb. raisins
    1 pt. jam
    1 pt. preserves
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients.
    Pour into 4 greased pans.
    Cook until done at 350\u00b0.
    Makes 2 two-layer cakes.
