Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 German chocolate cake mix
    1 (16 oz.) bag caramels
    3/4 c. margarine
    1 small can evaporated milk
    1 (6 oz.) bag chocolate chips
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Mix cake mix as directed.
    Bake half the batter in a 9 x 13-inch pan for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Mix the caramels with the margarine and milk. Stir over low heat until melted.
    Pour the caramel mixture over the baked cake.
    Add the chocolate chips and nuts.
    Pour the remaining batter on top and bake 15 to 20 minutes. Cool.
