Ingredients

4 eggs, beaten
2 1/3 c. sugar
5 c. milk
4 1/2 ?? vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. salt
4 c. cream or 1 qt. half and half
Preparation

Mix eggs and sugar well, then add milk, vanilla, salt and cream.
Beat until sugar is dissolved.
Freeze in an ice cream freezer according to manufacturer's directions.
