Easy Beef Stew With Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 lb. trimmed boneless beef chuck, cut into thin strips
    1 large onion, coarsely chopped
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
    1 (4 oz.) jar sliced mushrooms, drained
    1 c. beef broth
    1 c. thawed, frozen, sliced carrots
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    2 c. Minute rice, uncooked
Preparation
    Heat oil in large skillet.
    Add meat and onions; cook and stir until meat is browned.
    Stir in flour, salt and pepper.
    Stir in tomatoes, mushrooms, broth, carrots and garlic powder.
    Bring to boil.
    Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 10 minutes.
