Honey-Whole Wheat Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. yeast, in 1/2 c. warm water
    1/3 c. honey
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 3/4 c. warm water
    3 c. whole wheat flour
    3 to 4 c. flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water.
    Stir in honey, salt, shortening, water and whole wheat flour. Beat until smooth.
    Stir in flour.
    Knead 10 minutes.
    Place in greased bowl. Cover and let rise 1 hour.
    Punch down.
    Divide in half. Shape into 2 loaves. Place in greased loaf pans.
    Let rise 1 hour.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
    Remove from pans and cool on wire rack.
