Eggnog Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. eggnog (commercial)
    1 Tbsp. corn syrup
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    3/4 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
    2 Tbsp. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
    2 tsp. butter
Preparation
    Butter bottom and sides of an 8 x 4 x 2-inch pan and set aside.
    Butter the sides of a heavy, 2-quart saucepan.
