Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

single pie crust (10-inch is best)
5 eggs
1 c. white sugar
1 1/2 c. dark Karo syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
6 Tbsp. melted butter
pecan halves
2 unbaked 9-inch pie shells
Preparation

This is a fine pie to serve with Thanksgiving dinner if you're not locked into the traditional pumpkin pie. Makes 2 (9-inch) pies.
