Cheese-Sausage Corn Bread - cooking recipe

2 Tbsp. butter
1/3 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 (8 oz.) pkg. Brown 'N Serve sausage links, thawed
1 (8 1/2 oz.) pkg. corn muffin mix
1 (8 3/4 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
1 egg
1/4 c. milk
1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
Saute onion and pepper in butter until tender, about 5 minutes.
Brown sausage according to package directions; drain.
