German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 slices bacon
    1 small chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. onion
    2/3 c. white vinegar
    1 1/3 c. water
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    6 c. sliced, cooked potatoes
Preparation
    Fry the bacon until crisp and drain.
    Save 2 to 3 tablespoons drippings.
    Crumble the bacon.
    Saute onion in drippings.
    Blend in flour slowly.
    Stir in vinegar and water.
    Cook until mixture boils and thickens slightly.
    Add sugar, salt and pepper.
    Simmer 10 minutes.
