Oatmeal Wheat Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1 3/4 c. whole wheat flour
    1/2 c. quick cooking oats
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    In mixing bowl, lightly beat egg.
    Stir in milk, oil and brown sugar. Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Pour into greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pan. Bake 30 or 40 minutes or until a pick inserted in center comes out clean. Allow to stand 5 minutes before serving.
    Makes 1 loaf.
