Saltine Cracker Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stack saltine crackers
    2 sticks margarine
    1 c. sugar
    9 oz. chocolate chips
    1/2 to 1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Melt margarine and add sugar.
    Separately spread saltine crackers on a foil-covered cookie sheet.
    Pour on margarine and sugar.
    Put in 350\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes.
    Remove from oven and dump on chocolate chips; let melt and spread.
    Sprinkle with pecans.
    Refrigerate 1 hour.
    Break into pieces.
