Santa'S Whiskers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. flour, plain (sift once, then measure)
    3/4 c. chopped red and green candied cherries
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    3/4 c. flaked coconut
Preparation
    In bowl, cream margarine and sugar.
    Blend in milk and vanilla.
    Stir in flour, cherries and nuts.
    Form into 2 rolls 2-inches in diameter and 8-inches long.
    Roll in coconut.
    Wrap and chill overnight.
    Slice 1/4-inch thick.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake 12 minutes at 375\u00b0.
    Rolls can be kept in refrigerator for 2 weeks or frozen even longer.
