Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    3 c. sugar
    6 large eggs
    3 c. cake flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 pt. whipping cream
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add 1 egg at a time.
    Cream after each one.
    Add flour and cream, flour and cream; mix well.
    Let flour be last ingredient you add.
    (Also, let butter, eggs and whipping cream stand at room temperature before beginning to make cake.)
